Huge Power Demands Huge Airflow!The key to huge horsepower in high performance cars is air density; or how many oxygen molecules are present in a given amount of air. A higher air density(more oxygen) allows for more fuel to be burned and thus, more power to be produced. In the world of high performance tuning, it is a never ending quest to find new ways of achieving higher air density. With that goal in mind, TPC Racing set out to create the ultimate intercooler design for the Porsche 997/996Turbo. What we came up with were the massive TPC Racing 127mm(5") RSx Intercoolers; and we are very confident in saying that you will not find a better intercooler assembly anywhere...period.
At TPC Racing, product development never ends. We are always looking for new ways to improve our already fantastic system. In our quest for more power from our 997Turbo RSx program, we began experimenting with different headers, and found a setup that greatly improved exhaust flow, yielding significant improvements to both the low and mid-range performance. With the addition of the RSx Headers, the TPC Racing 775RSx packs an even bigger punch than before! Performance in the mid-range has been boosted by an amazing 80whp and nearly 100lb/ft of torque! With the release of the TPC Racing Flash Tune, Porsche 997Turbo owners can now upgrade their vehicles from 480hp and 460lb/ft of torque all the way up to 615hp and 570lb/ft of torque. However, TPC Racing isn't just about huge power; we also believe immensely in the importance of a PROPERLY tuned car. At TPC Racing it is our position that drivers should not have to sacrifice the overall comfort in the daily operation of their vehicles just for the thrill of greater power. When the throttle is applied in a TPC Racing 997Turbo, the power comes on as smooth as a stock 997Turbo. However when the throttle is pressed further, the TPC Racing Flash Tune unleashes a torrent of power that seems like it could continue forever. With all this focus on delivering huge power, TPC Racing did not forget the little things. Slight on and off throttle modulations feel seamless; the engine doesn't stall when RPMs fall; and, with the optional TPC Racing Flash Tuner, we can create various engine tunes for different fuels/race conditions. A TPC Racing 997Turbo is as comfortable on a trip to the grocery store as it is doing laps at the track or laying down rubber at the drag strip.
